1. Type the word the way it sounds in Roman letters, then press space.
2. The big row shows Urdu readings for the word at your cursor. Tap one to
fix that word — it works on any word, not just the last one.
3. The row under it offers longer words that start the same way, and the
last row suggests what usually comes next. Tap a word to insert it.
4. Use + add when nothing is right. Your word beats every guess after that.
Write it your way. Indian and Pakistani spellings both work, because the
difference is one letter: ڑ is written d in Indian roman (thoda, bada, padha)
and r in Pakistani roman (thora, bara, parha). Type either and you get
تھوڑا, بڑا, پڑھا. The same happens with ق, which is k in Indian roman
(kadam, kissa, kareeb) and q in Pakistani roman (qadam, qissa, qareeb).
Both reach قدم, قصہ, قریب.
Chat shorthand and English. What people actually type in chat is covered:
nhi, boht, mei, kro, apko all give نہیں، بہت، میں، کرو، آپ کو, and the
abbreviations agr, sb, thk, khtm too. English words that Pakistani writers
spell in Urdu script are spelled that way (message → میسج, key → چابی,
table → ٹیبل), and English the page has no Urdu spelling for stays exactly
as you typed it, instead of being mangled by a rule.
